HowZat Project collects nothing about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. Everything you enter stays on your own phone unless you deliberately send it somewhere.
Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit or store any personal information about you, your device or how you use it. There is no sign-up, no login and no account.
Your projects, schedules, resources, pricing jobs, cost entries and production records are saved only in the app's private storage on your device. We cannot see it. Nobody else can either.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. That is why the app includes a Backup screen — please use it.
The app makes no network connections. It works fully offline, by design, and there is no server behind it. Nothing you type ever leaves your phone on its own.
When you tap Export or Backup, the app hands the file to your phone's standard share sheet. From that point it goes wherever you send it — email, messages, cloud storage — and whoever you send it to can read it. Reports and backups can contain your rates, costs and margins, so treat them the way you would treat any commercial document.
There are no third-party tools inside this app — no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking of any kind. The only outside link is the LinkedIn address on the About screen; tapping it opens your browser and leaves the app, and LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies from there.
The app asks for no permissions — no location, no camera, no contacts, no notifications. Choosing a CSV file to import and sharing a file out both go through your phone's own picker and share sheet, which hand over only the single file you pick.
This is a tool for construction professionals. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Because no data ever reaches us, there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or delete on your behalf. Your data is entirely under your own control: you can edit or delete any record in the app, and deleting the app removes all of it from your device.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published here and the date at the top will change with it.
